Kate is a qualified secondary school Dance Teacher and previously Head of Department. Her passion for Dance and Theatre started aged 5 and she has studied a wide range of techniques to advanced level including Ballet, (ISTD and RAD syllabi) Tap, Jazz (ISTD) and Contemporary and is a B.A.T.D. Associate in Stage.

She diversified at University and completed a degree in Drama and she has spent more than 8 years in secondary education, during which time she has turned around departments in inner city London Schools by improving A Level and GCSE results and revolutionising teaching practices.

SOPHIE - Ballet, Tap and Modern

Sophie’s dance studies started age 3, embracing Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Classical Greek. She trained intensively with the Birmingham Royal Ballet and in vocational schools in both London and Buckinghamshire. Sophie studied RAD Ballet to Advanced level and Intermediate ISTD Tap and Modern and  achieved a first class honours degree in Dance Studies from the University of Surrey, Roehampton.

A keen choreographer, she loves a cheeky bit of Musical Theatre and contemporary, and has enjoyed tackling an array of projects - from choreographing full scale musicals in 10 days with 250 young people, to devising intimate pieces for cabaret troupes at music and theatre festivals.

MARGARITA - Ballet and Contemporary

Margie started ballet aged 7 and in her first performance she was...a mouse! She studied professional ballet and contemporary performance and teaching in “N. KONTAXAKI” higher professional dance school, in Greece. There she took part in many professional company performances and participated in international ballet competitions. She  learned Russian, Hungarian, and Polish character dances, Greek traditional dance, and followed seminars in Dalcroze rhythmic exercises, ballet for pre-primary children, Forsythe technique, Danish Ballet syllabus, and many others. Phew! She also has a degree in music theory as well as an MA in Choreography and Dance performance.

Margarita LOVES cake, reading, and when she's not dancing, relaxing. She daydreams most of the day, until someone stops her and she gets hyper at random, especially when thinking of cake...
